  Waldemar - Orlogsskib
Waldemar had exactly the same "as designed" principle dimensions as did Henrik Gerner's "masterpiece," the Neptunus, an also exactly the same Danish crew establishment as Neptunus, but Waldemar's armament differed slightly, as the Neptunus carried 30-36 pdrs., 30-24 pdrs., and 20-12 pdrs.

The curious fact about Waldemar after her seizure by Britain is that, unlike all of the Hohlenberg-designed Danish battleships, the powerful Waldemar was never employed in sea service by the British, and this raises the compelling question of why the British did not employ Waldemar operationally.

Here the iconoclast is not creating an image designed to provoke irreverence, the way a cartoonist does, but he is intent on eliminating all offensive images completely and totally.
There were two great iconoclastic movements that shook the Byzantine Empire, first in the eighth century, and later in the ninth century, both of which exhibited the same fanatic zeal in destroying the thousands of icons that adorned Byzantine churches and monasteries.
