Waldorf Astor, 2nd Viscount Astor (May 19, 1879–September 30, 1952) was a businessman and politician and a member of the prominent Astor family.
Waldorf Astor was a friend and supporter of Prime Minister David Lloyd George and during World War I he served as the prime minister's parliamentary secretary.
Waldorf Astor was active in charitable causes and served as a governor of the Peabody Trust and Guy's Hospital.
