The Waldstadion is a 52,000 seat stadium in Frankfurt, Germany that is primarily used for soccer and American football.
During World War II the Waldstadion was also used for political events.
For the 2006 World Cup there were carried out big modifications, the stadium was nearly completely rebuilt and modernized.

The Waldstadion, home of Eintracht Frankfurt football club, was built in 1925 and was site of the first game in NFL Europe history when the Galaxy hosted the London Monarchs on 23 March 1991.
It was venue for one of the most memorable matches in the history of football's World Cup - in 1974 West Germany beat Poland 1-0 during a downpour to qualify for the final.
The Waldstadion stands south of the city centre approximately 2 miles / 3 km south of the River Main.
