Vinyard and Julian Losson (Lawson) are enumerated in the 1850 Walker County, Alabama Census taken in the 11th District, 4 December 1850.
In the 1866 Alabama State Census, there is a Vinson Lawson, who I believe to be Vinyard, living close to Albert G. Lawson, his son, in Township 14, Range 8 of Walker County.
He was a voter in Wade County in 1872, the Sheriff of the Choctow nation in June 1875, a candidate for National Auditor in 1893 and a candidate for Principal Chief in 1896.
