Wallace Ford (February 12, 1898 - June 11, 1966) was a movie and television actor who, with his friendly appearence and stocky build, appeared in a number of movie westerns and B-movies.
Ford, born Samuel Jones in England, began as a vaudville actor before performing on Broadway.
John Ford (February 1, 1894 – August 31, 1973) was one of the most accomplished American film directors of the 1930s to 1960s, known particularly as a director of the Westerns, although his tributes to the veterans of World War II and Americana are also equally effective.

When Ford president and CEO Jac Nasser determined to make his company leaner and more entrepreneurial, he clearly got his wish when Ford representatives recently closed a deal for 51% controlling interest in PIVCO, a tiny Norwegian company and builder of the Th!nk electric car.
Wallace explained that when PIVCO filed for bankruptcy in early November, Ford had to sit back and wait for the company to reorganize before it could move forward with its own initiative.
Wallace said he'd seen some of the Th!nk crash vehicles and in the case of the side crash tests, he reported he was hard-pressed to tell if anything was wrong with the car until he got inside and saw the structural damage.
