 Friday The 13th @ PitOfHorror.com
"Crazy Ralph" actor Walt Gorney was so devoted to the role that he was frequently overheard talking to himself on the set, presumably to remain in character.
The film's conclusion leaves a heretofore unanswered mystery in the Friday the 13th canon: the fate of Paul Holt (John Furey) is not, nor has ever been, revealed to the audience.
Actor Tom McBride, who portrayed wheelchair-bound Mark, passed away in 1995, one of several Friday the 13th cast alumni deaths; others include Walt Gorney (Crazy Ralph in Parts I and II), Vernon Washington (Grandpa in Part V), Rex Everhart (Enos the trucker in Part I) and Sally Anne Golden (Sandy the waitress in Part I).

These scenes’ saving grace is that, for the most part, they are put against different settings and emotional moods from what was utilized in Cunningham’s feature.
Other holdovers from Part I are Harry Manfredini’s “Hiss, hiss, hissing” Jason soundtrack theme, a swimming hole sequence, and Walt Gorney as the camptown’s resident weirdo, Crazy Ralph.
Crazy Ralph is so strange, that maybe Walt had to act weird all of the time in order to stay in character.”

I checked out afew F13 actors imdb.com entries today after not checking for nearly 6 months and noticed alot of them were updated.
Apon checking Walt Gorney's (aka Crazy Ralph) entry, it was updated, and I was shocked to see that it says he died in 1989, all this time nobody knew whether he was alive or not anymore, and now I see that hes been dead for 12 years now.
Though I had a feeling he might be since his last movie was in 1986, but I was just kinda hoping he retired or something.

Plot: In 1958 at the Crystal Lake summer holiday camp, young Jason Voorhees is drowned while the counselors supposed to be supervising him are having sex.
There is one good surprise that comes right at the end - Cunningham has undeniably stolen it from Carrie (1976), but he does quite neatly create an atmosphere of perfect calm and passover before brutally disrupting it.
The performances of Betsy Palmer, Walt Gorney and Ron Millkie as a motorcycle cop frequently reach ludicrous extremes.
