 Huddleston/Daniel Genealogy
I believe that David Norman Huddleston is the father of John W. Huddleston, born 1865 in Moulton, Alabama, and the Census's that I have uncovered, as well as, the family Bible proves that I am right.
Some say that this John W. Huddleston was related to Davey Crockett's granddaughter and that she had a son named, Davey Crockett Huddleston, the name does appear in the family Bible and from what I have researched does not lead this John W. Huddleston related to Davey Crockett in any way, shape or form.

Mitch McConnell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The race wasn't decided until the last returns came in, and it appeared that McConnell won only because of Ronald Reagan's gigantic landslide in that year's presidential election (Reagan won Kentucky by 21 percentage points).
Part of McConnell's success came from a series of television campaign spots called "Where's Dee," featuring a group of bloodhounds trying to find Huddleston, implying that Huddleston's attendance record in the Senate was less than stellar.
His campaign bumper stickers and television ads asked voters to "Switch to Mitch." Despite the wide perception that 1984 was a disaster for Democrats, McConnell was the only Republican to defeat an incumbent Democratic senator that year.

But if we get burned twice, that is our fault, and we shouldn't have that happen." Senator Walter Huddleston of Kentucky announced even worse treacheries.
Now that wheat has reached record heights, he said, there were reports (denied by the Agriculture Department) that the Russians were reselling their $1.63 American wheat to others at the current price of $4.65.
