No expenses were spared in the design and construction of the WA2000, which may have been what ultimately doomed the rifle.

Since only a few were actually produced, it's hard to find reference pics on www.
Walther Wa-2000 sniper rifle had been developed by Carl Walther Waffenfabrik (Germany) in early 1970s as a highly specialised police sniper rifle.
Unlike many other sniper rifles of that period, WA-2000 was not a conversion of the sporting or hunting rifle, but entirely new design with some remarcable features.

One table had this WA2000 all by itself with a nicely made card saying "if you have to ask, you proberly can't afford it".
If you do know the MSRP of the WA2000 when it came out, that would be a much better discussion because that monetary price would be based off what the company believed the rifle was worth.
The WA2000 soon became a collector's item and disappeared from the sniper shoots and from the public eye.
