Walworth is a place in the London Borough of Southwark, between Camberwell and Elephant and Castle.
Walworth is 1.9 miles (3.1 km) south east of Charing Cross.
On Walworth Road and named in memory of the former Labour Party leader John Smith, it was a former headquarters of the Labour Party and could often be seen in news reports at election times and in the background as people came to and went from stormy meetings of the Labour Party National Executive Committee.
