As per the calendar of the Wanchos they celebrate the Ojiyele festival during the month of "Dinglik Let" (March) and "Saniyak Let" (April) according to the lower Wanchos and "Han" and "Huha" according to the upper Wanchos.
The date of the festival is fixed by the Chief of the village with the help of "Ngwapa" (the person who intimate any matter to the villagers and who use to accompany the chief at any time) and village elders by counting the digits on waxing and waning moon.
Every Wancho village is having three or four earthen "TingletNoi" on the basis of the number of household dwelling in the village.
