Wanda Shirk (born August 24, 1949) was a player on the television reality show Survivor who, along with Jonathan Libby, was forced to leave the game in Survivor: Palau on the second day because of a special elimination twist.
Wanda was a middle-aged school teacher most noted for singing loudly and near-continuously ("I wanna make this one big party while it lasts"), which is probably why she wasn't picked.
And yet, because her positive spirit seemed to be appreciated outside the game, she received a fond farewell as she left on the second day.

I just read an article stating that Wanda Shirk has made some allegations on tvguide.com stating that models were chosen over regular people for this Survivor.
Personally, Wanda's complaining is getting old - wah wah wah - it would seem that perhaps she is needing some camera time, etc, not MB.

I'll give Wanda a break on her appearance, unless she still looks like this even with a face full of make up, her hair done up, and in a designer outfit.
She dared to be whacky, and after watching her interview on the Survivor Insider, I thought she was very articulate in describing her experience as having one lick at the ice cream cone, before it was tantalizingly taken away from her.
That is serious to me. If this was a way for Wanda to show the world that she wasn't this old person that people didn't think could do anything, then I would have exchanged places with her faster than you can blink your eye.
