		The 13th Annual Meeting of China Polyurethane Industry Association（CPUIA）, the grand meeting of China Polyurethane Industry, was successfully concluded on Sep.3rd, 2006 in Shanghai.
		Yantai WANHUA was elected as the vice chairman of the board of directors of CPUIA.
		Altogether over 300 people attended the meeting, and the meeting summarized the achievement of the 3rd board of directors and voted the new membership regulations and elected the 4th board of directors.

	Sino-American Expedition Explores Rare Karst Landscape
		The nine-member team, including six professional expeditioners from the United States, explored Wanhua Cave and two other minor caves adjacent to it in the past week and made tests in hope of finding a hidden underground river and determining its source, said a spokesman for the expedition.
		Wanhua Cave has remained as a riddle since it was first discovered in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) because of its complicated topography.
		Scientists believe there are underground rivers running beneath Wanhua Cave and its nearby caves, along with primitive forests and plenty of fauna and flora resources.

	Chemical anti-dumping charge dropped
		The ministry began to investigate the case on September 20 last year at the request of the Wanhua Polyurethane Co Ltd.
		In its application to withdraw the case, Wanhua said MDI imports from Japan and South Korea have increased in price since the investigation began.
