Admiral Henry B. Wilson was the most celebrated Camden citizen to contribute to America's war effort in World War I. Born on Mt. Vernon Street in 1861, the son of Camden postmaster, teacher, and legislator H. Wilson, young Henry graduated from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1881.
Admiral Wilson died on 30 January 1954 and was buried with full military honors in Section 5 of Arlington National Cemetery.

Admiral Robinson was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on October 2, 1924, son of Issac H. and Helen M. (Bailey) Robinson.
During combat action in the Korean War, Admiral Robinson was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V” “For meritorious service…when the (English) was attacked by enemy shore batteries while at anchor at Wonson…” English was one of the first Atlantic Fleet ships to enter the Korean War.
