  GameSpy.com - Review
Wario World is a straight-up platformer, full of colorful character and presentation.
Wario is able to throw a volley of punches, perform jumps, and a butt-stomp move, and also pick up and throw/spin objects and enemies around.
Chuck in Wario's signature shoulder barge dash attack, and add in his amusing new "coin suck" mouth move, and you're left with a decent array of level-busting moves and attacks.

GamingWorld X - Wario World Review
Wario World is a straight up, old school platformer in 3D clothing.
Wario’s special abilities aren’t just used to dispatch a screen full of adversaries, but can also be handy to open special gates and areas.
Wario World is an extremely solid platformer that is a joy to stomp through, but by no means introduces anything new or innovative to the genre.

Wario World for GameCube Review - GameCube Wario World Review
Wario World is a platform game, but it doesn't share a lot of common traits with the standard 3D platformers, like Ratchet and Clank or Super Mario Sunshine.
The world is stocked with plenty of enemies, and Wario's main form of attack is using his fists to punch out the lights of anything that gets in his way.
There are some pretty cool things going on in Wario World--let's face it, any game with a spinning pile driver already has at least one strong point in its favor--but the game's mechanics are shallow, there aren't enough levels, and the game is easy enough to complete in an afternoon.

IGN: Reader Review of: Wario Land 3
Wario Land 3 mixes clever puzzles with a great dose of humor, innovative gameplay, creative level design, and a nifty little plot that weaves it all together.
Wario has to recover music boxes in order to revive the figure, but the only reason he is actually doing that is because he gets to keep all the treasure he collects along the way.
Wario Land 3 as a matter of fact is on par with some Game Boy Advance games, simply because of all the work that was done to make the game look the way it looks.

 Wario World - Gamecube review
Basically, Wario is a greedy guy, which we all know, and one day his greed got the best of him and he brought home this cursed fl jewel.
Wario has a number of attacks at his disposal, the most basic of which being his fists and the ubiquitous 3D platformer butt-stomp.
Wario himself is also rendered authentically, down to his idle animations (one of which involved him scratching his butt which had me laughing out loud.) With no slowdown or clipping issues that I noticed, and the fixed-angle camera eliminating most camera-control issues, Wario World looks pretty from start to finish.

GamingWorld - X Clusive GNP: "Wario Land" (Virtual Boy)
Wario, in all his clumsy, dimwitted ways, is the perfect antihero.
Wario Land remains a favorite among Virtual Boy fans, and the reasons are obvious.
The charm of the Wario character, the challenging and amusing puzzles, and the precise controls are enough to make this game shine, even on a system with such a negative stigma attached to it.

Wario has finally built his dream castle but among his many stolen treasures lies a mysterious fl jewel that begins to transform Wario's other jewels into monsters.
Brawling against weird creatures such as purple pterodactyls and club-wielding rhinoceroses is a lot of fun, especially because Wario has a handful of wrestling moves at his disposal, such as pile-drives and the ability to toss an enemy into others.
Because "Wario World" is a fairly straightforward and relatively short platform adventure, it may be a better weekend rental than a purchase.

Wario Ware Inc.: Mega Microgames - GBA review
Wario Ware, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ is easily one of the strangest games to come out this year, or any year for that matter.
It actually eludes description; any attempt at conveying what Wario Ware is cannot really make it sound like a whole lot of fun, because it is one of those games that really needs to be experienced in order to be appreciated.
Nonetheless, Wario Ware is one of those rare games that kept me glued to my Game Boy Advance until the wee hours of the morning, trying to complete just one more stage.

Wario games have always been quirky, slightly off-key and bizarre, yet still amazingly fun and full of style and attitude.
Why, Wario himself is a fat, deformed, bizarro mirror image of Mario, and yet still so bursting with energy and enthusiasm that he's oddly lovable.
Wario is apparently a bit of an impatient gamer though, because he wants all his games to be "Faster, faster, faster!", and to that end, his crew has assembled 200+ games so fast-paced that most only last for five seconds, tops.

Wario's arsenal is, very much like Mario, limited to his hands and feet.
