	Warlock Movie Review
		WARLOCK's story is slightly different: it was one of the last few films still on the shelf at New World Pictures when that 'B' movie powerhouse found that all its low-grossing schlock had come back to haunt it straight into Chapter 11 proceedings.
		For reassembling the Bible, the Warlock would be rewarded by meeting the Cursed One himself, or by becoming his servant, or his chauffeur, or personal assistant, or something of that nature.
		Redferne had last tangled with the Warlock in the film's opening scenes (set in late 17th century Massachusetts), and it was only by the narrowest of margins that the Warlock escaped public execution.

		Though, Warlock is a worthwhile supernatural horror film, and Miner should be proud of what he was able to create here since this was the final film made by New World Pictures before they filed for bankruptcy and shut their doors forever.
		The Warlock is brought back to recover a colelction of gems that, together, can destroy all of creation (yes, again) by bringing his father, Satan, into our world.
		The powers of the Warlock are exponentially more extensive and destructive here than in the first movie, but doesn't it matter when the story loses the heart and the charm that the first had with Redferne (who was sent back to the past at the end of the first movie).

		The most memorable scene is the one where the warlock is reborn on the earth through a mortal woman, if this scene doesnt turn your stomach nothing will.
		This follow-up to Warlock boasts more sophisticated visual effects, slicker production values, and bigger (and bloodier) action, but fans of the original's dry wit and tight story may be disappointed.

	Warlock: The Armageddon Movie
		It's goofy and the Druids vs. the Warlock history is a bit silly but overall quite enjoyable.
		It has better pacing than the first film and seems less disjointed even though the Warlock's search fro the runestones is told in a series of little vignette's.
		As I said before the story is a little silly but I liked it better than the witch-hunter sent through time story of the first film and the forgettable kids in a haunted house approach of the third.

		Clever and original, this horror film directed by Steve Miner (Forever Young) stars Julian Sands as a 17th century warlock who escapes the gallows and is transported--along with the witch hunter who brought him to trial (Richard E. Grant)--300 years into the future.
		In a great twist, the last bit of the book is in a very interesting place: the grave of Grant's character, who has enlisted the aid of a woman (Lori Singer) in a hurried effort to stop imminent disaster.
		Genuinely involving, Warlock is aided immeasurably by sharp performances from the equally eccentric Grant (Withnail and I) and Sands (Naked Lunch).
