The Warrior’s Code   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-06)
A warrior’s code may cover everything from the treatment of prisoners of war to oath keeping to table etiquette, but its primary purpose is to grant nobility to the warriors’ profession.
warrior’s code or that they are sufficiently inspired to take it on board as their own personal credo (a way of life, not mere memorized words).
On the other hand, warriors who are justifiably proud of the ethical components of their own code should not assume that all civilians lack any equally demanding code, simply because a civilian’s code, unlike the UCMJ, may not be backed by the threat of formal punishment.

Review - Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code // PSP /// Eurogamer
On the surface it seems that there's more to Warrior's Code than there was to Brotherhood of the Blade, but in practise, the streamlined inventory, the wider multiplayer options and tweaks to gameplay don't actually make much of a difference at all.
The sense of scale is impressive too, and visually Warrior's Code does a good job of the environment - architecture, depth of terrain, chasms, foliage and a use of lighting and shade add a lot to the package.
Untold Legends: Warriors Code is an average entry-level action RPG.

Likewise, certain elite groups of Hawaiian warriors wore tattoos that communicated their rank, family lineage, personal accomplishments and other information that could easily be read by someone who understood the code.
A warrior captured by the enemy could be gutted like a pig and have every joint in his body dislocated while still alive so that he could be bundled up and carried off the field as a sacrifice to enemy war gods.

A long time ago (Probably 12-18 months) someone posted a 20,000 word essay that they had wrote on the warrior code.
Some codes penalise the killing of women and children and consider it acceptable to scrub a mission rather than killing women and kids.
Some codes also put the mission completion in accordance with higher orders as being more important than one's own personal honour, arguing that the honour in obeying orders outweighs the sometimes less than honourable things one must do to achieve one's objectives.
