Washburn County is a county located in the state of Wisconsin.
The racial makeup of the county is 97.27% White, 0.17% Black or African American, 1.01% Native American, 0.19% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.12% from other races, and 1.22% from two or more races.
In the county, the population is spread out with 23.80% under the age of 18, 5.80% from 18 to 24, 24.70% from 25 to 44, 27.10% from 45 to 64, and 18.50% who are 65 years of age or older.

These dedicated volunteers are part of the 911/EMS system in Washburn county and are directed by Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake.
