User Comments For the Washington Wild Things - Baseball-Reference.com
Washington is a very small city, consiting of a few malls and a tiny private college (Wash. & Jefferson) -- so there's really nowhere else they could've built Falconi Field and had it work.
In general, I was struck by how small the stadium is. I was acclimated to minor league baseball at the Durham Bulls, pre-Costner, and that was a genuine, old, built-into-the-city stadium that had all kinds of charm.
There's very little charm to the Wild Things stadium, so unless you are up for an inexpensive outing, are a big baseball fan, or have a friend or relative playing or working for the team, it's not a great draw.
