		In last night's episode, Willow channeled the power of the scythe and dispersed Slayer power to all girls who had the potential to become Slayers, while Spike wore the amulet that caused the Hellmouth to close and killed the Turok-han, at the expense of his own (undead-wth-soul) life.
		It was a fitting end to a ground-breaking series that helped shape lives and has firmly ensconced Buffy as one of the role models of a new millenium.
		The last episode of Buffy was a blast, taken either singularly, or as the fitting end to a marvelous series.

		This happened because he had to inject a muscle relaxant into Buffy unnoticed so she could take one of the tests performed by the Council where she would be locked up in a house with a powerful vampire and would have to slay him without her superior abilities but with originality and cunning.

		Interestingly there is no music in the episode which increases how utterly sad the situation is. When Buffy tells dawn what has happened all we hear is Dawn's anguished crying rather than Buffy actually telling her what has happened.
		The way in which we only hear what Buffy actually says to Dawn until after she has leaped into the vortex is a wonderful bit of writing.
