LEXX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
LEXX is a science fiction TV series that follows the adventures of a group of mismatched individuals aboard the Lexx, "the most powerful destructive force in the two universes" from which the show takes its name.
The Lexx is a bioengineered, Manhattan-sized, planet-destroying, living starship in the shape of a giant wingless dragonfly.
The third season comprises 13 episodes in which the Lexx is trapped in orbit around the warring planets Fire and Water, and the crew encounters an enigmatic and cheerful evil being known as Prince, who may be the Devil.

The planet Water consists almost entirely of water (presumably fresh water, because it is often referred to as being drinkable).
Life on Water seems to have been meant to be full of unmarred beauty and contentment, but this is shattered by frequent war parties from Fire, which arrive via hot air balloons through the planets' shared atmosphere.
As the Lexx looks for the nearest planet to feed on, it is revealed that Fire and Water were part of the Earth's solar system, following the same orbit as the Earth but on the other side of the Sun.

Lexx yelped and pulled the blanket down in an effort to remove the cat, but she clung like velcro, "You can't tell anyone." He chose to ignore her and speak directly to Chel, "Doubt they'd believe you if you did..." The girl just stared at him.
Lexx was used to having to stand in the cleanser, a device that used heat to do the same water did, although it wasn't nearly as relaxing, and the smell afterward was not pleasant.
Lexx shifted the chair away from the table with his foot, not bothering to take his hands from the robe pockets and looking down the entire time, not deeming it necessary to look at Chel as she spoke.

Once in, the three visitors explore.  They find a moth … a dead moth, in fact the LEXX looks very dusty and murky indeed, the crew are nowhere to be seen.  The only sign of life is on the flight deck where 790 commands the visitors to take it to his beloved Xev.
As far as he was aware, the LEXX was a comet that had been circling the planet of Fire for  a 'very long time'.  Stanley was becoming more and more disconcerted with Prince's quiet but overpowering personality and he makes a run for it, hoping to get to the cryo-chamber to revive Kai before recapture.
Back on the LEXX Kai (with a small amount of frustration in his voice) is trying to tell 790 that it doesn’t love him and that it actually loves the love slave, Xev.

Lexx's third season kicks some apple carts over early in the proceedings, and doing something typically Lexx in picking up the story several thousand years after the end of the last season.
Fire And Water sets the stage for the season by introducing Nigel Bennett as the formidable villain Prince (hey, at least he's not The Villain Formerly Known As Prince), and serving up a flashback to explain why our unlikely heroes have been out of commission for so long.
Far from being the all-conquering weapon of mass destruction that it was in the second season, Lexx is crippled now, stuck between the two worlds of a binary planetary system, doomed to an eternity trapped between their orbits.

Actually, I've never seen it; I simply decided, given your love for Lexx, that I should probably make it clear that it's the locking up of your GM, and not the having him watch the show, that would get your character killed.

By now Lexx aficionados know what to expect from this rather odd sci-fi series: instead of thrilling action and fancy special effects, the show offers relatively low-rent technical values, acting that's less than Emmy-worthy, and loads of sexual innuendo, often with pretty humorous results.
Our heroes, such as they are, are still stuck somewhere between (and occasionally on) the planets Water and Fire, while their organic mother ship, the eponymous Lexx, steadily weakens from lack of food.
With the LEXX still stuck between the opposing planets Fire and Water, Stan's efforts to feed his gargantuan organic ship and his own outsized libido take center stage until the whole crew gets into a slow-motion fight for their lives.
