Waterloo is an inner-city suburb of the Inner West of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Up until recently, Waterloo was a relatively poor area, many public housing estates for those on low-incomes, were built in the second half of the 20th century by the New South Wales Department of Housing.
Waterloo is accessible by bus from the city and 2000 saw the opening of the Airport line of CityRail.
