		In "Art Lover" the slick haired punk from "Return To Waterloo" is given an extended life as Lucien.

		A riverside view of London, with the golden sun setting and the chattering atmosphere of Londoners milling along this fine waterway is one of the best ways to enjoy capital life.

		It's one of my favorite Kinks songs, but while Def Leppard's results are always technically competent, they're tarted up with hammy production in a ProTools-era take on the band's lacquered hard rock glory days, here as gloriously bronzed and fritzed as a CNN host.
		Def Leppard may be nostalgic for the song's pastoral England or for their own commercial peak, but their "Waterloo Sunset" is weirdly like Los Angeles invading their native Sheffield: peroxide-laden, petrol-spewing, and superficially intriguing-- but ultimately pretty ridiculous.
