 BBC NEWS England Samaritan's 109-mile trek to return purse
Blossom Taylor thought she must have been the victim of a sneak thief during a stop at Watford Gap Service Station in Northamptonshire.
But minutes after she completed the seven-and-a-half-hour journey through thick fog, Ms Taylor's purse was returned to her - by a Good Samaritan from Wiltshire who had driven 109 miles from Watford Gap to Yorkshire.
The woman - who does not want to be named - could not find Mrs Taylor in the service area and took a detour from her own journey north to deliver the purse herself.
