Waupaca County is a county located in the state of Wisconsin.
The racial makeup of the county is 97.93% White, 0.17% Black or African American, 0.42% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.54% from other races, and 0.66% from two or more races.
In the county, the population is spread out with 25.70% under the age of 18, 7.10% from 18 to 24, 27.80% from 25 to 44, 22.70% from 45 to 64, and 16.70% who are 65 years of age or older.

A couple from Waupaca County, along with a Portage County man, face charges after a monthlong investigation led authorities to a methamphetamine laboratory.
The Portage County man who allegedly sold meth to the undercover agent faces major felony charges because he is a convicted felon and was in possession of a firearm when arrested, Helgeson said.
Waupaca County District Attorney John Schneider said these were the first meth lab arrests in that county's history.

The Waupaca Co. MGA started some new projects this year, including having volunteers in the Extension office one day every other week to answer gardening questions.
As in the past years, books were donated to all of the libraries in Waupaca Co., and we held our two annual Plant Sales, one each in the spring and fall, that help fund our programs.
During the 3 days of FTD this booth was staffed by MG’s from Waupaca Co. and 4-H leaders and members from Waushara Co.
