 Amazon.com: Next: Music: Journey
To put it simply, if you liked the first two Journey albums (which also had Gregg Rollie singing), you're very much likely to like the third one in the line.
Next was an appropriate title for Journey's last album with Rollie on lead vocals, because by the time their next album came around, the band would be a totally different one from the one that Rollie and Schon gave birth to.
NEXT is a solid piece of innovative, experimental and almost progressive rock music, but remarkable here is the pleasant songwriting work of this album.

For those of you who haven't heard Coney Hatch, If I were to try and compare who Coney Hatch sounds like I guess I'd have to say maybe April Wine from the era of "Harder Faster" or "Nature Of The Beast".
I believe both bands are canadian and this album came out in 1982 about the same time as the aforementioned April Wine albums...so maybe that explains the similarities.
Coney Hatch didn't have the specatacular shows or crazy costumes, but they played great straight forward rock, which, to me, seemed aimed right at radio airplay.
