The Weasleys family we have gotten to know throughout the course of the Harry Potter series is the one descended from Arthur Weasley and his wife Molly.
The Weasleys have a pureblood line that goes back many generations, but unlike some pureblood families they're willing to open their home and heart to half-bloods, Muggleborns, and even Muggles should it ever be so necessary.
And on the plus side, the family seems to be on the verge of growth as Bill and Fleur are going to be married in the summer of 1997.

Some of the distinction between the ancient noble or isolationist families and those of plebeian but mostly pureblooded retainers’ descent dating from the pre-Seclusion era has probably become somewhat less important over the past century and a half, but for these “late-comers” there are no concessions made.
Of course in some cases, such as with the Weasleys, who (from the information regarding the Black family tapestry) seem to have been regarded as blood traitors since the 1930s or so, it seems largely a matter of chance that they even ARE still purebloods by this point in time.
With the departure of her primary antagonists as well as the defection of her most trusted ally, most of the surface causes for Molly’s perpetual irritation and ill-will were now out of the equation, and Molly was going to have to look elsewhere for the “causes” of her chronic dissatisfaction.

Molly Weasley: Character Analysis - Chamber of Secrets
Molly Weasley nee Prewett, a pureblood witch who was in Gryffindor House in her Hogwarts days, married to pureblood Arthur Weasley, mother to seven children, and sister to Gideon and Fabian Prewett who died in the service of the original Order of the Phoenix during Voldemort War I (VWI).
Molly also clearly regards the death of her family members (note that Harry is among those Molly sees dead) as the worst sort of terror (boggart encounter at Grimmauld Place).
I don't think Molly harbours any prejudices from being brought up in a pure blood family as evidence by her marriage to someone who is absolutely fascinated by them and the fact that her children have followed her example and harbour no ill feelings towards muggles either.

At the time of Voldemort's first rise, Arthur Weasley would have been a relatively young and likely low-ranked ministry official: precisely the sort of person most likely to be targetted by the Death Eaters for exploitation.
Some people have also come up with attempts to organize the Weasley children's names according to an alphabetical schematic in order to bolster the notion that there was a third son, now deceased, born between Charlie and Percy.
