There's a Music addon, a gallery addon, etc...I would like to have/use a Webcomic addon...which would be a simple page that displays individual pages of a comic strip one at a time, with forward and back, start and end buttons, reading the images out of a folder named by date.
The page would allow the webcomic owner to upload new comic images directly from the top in a link only they can see.
It would be like having a ton of pages, but really just be one page that reads images according to their date.

Now if the webcomic creators who do draw huge crowds at conventions decided to organize something up just for webcomics, that might be a different story.
Or maybe you mean more of a networking convention between webcomics creators where everyone can "talk shop" and do the kind of kudos swapping done online, except you get to do it in the flesh, shaking hands while balancing overpriced burgers and sodas.
But a convention to celebrate those who are obsessively driven to "do webcomics" despite no financial (and few other) rewards sounds more like a group therapy session than a genuine reason for a convention.

Web Design Forums - Print Thread - What do I need for a webcomic?
Hi, I am new to website design, and new to the forum. However I did not intend to make a career in website design.I just want to create a webcomic of my own.I don't know what it required to make a website and the need for the webcomic itself.I know this forum isn't greared for this.
I would suggest looking at some of the more popular comics around for design ideas (obviously you have done this if u are a fan), but than start browsing through the code, even if u don't know what it means, just too see what it looks like.
