Webzine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A webzine tends to be published on a regulated basis (weekly, biweekly, monthly) and may maintain an editorial control system.
A distinguishing characteristic from blogs is that webzines bypass the strict adherence to the reverse-chronological format; the front page is mostly clickable headlines and is laid out either manually on a periodic basis, or automatically based on the story type.
Webzine 2005 was emceed by veteran Webzine emcee Justin Hall, Annalee Newitz and Charlie Anders.

The Webzine Format: benefits for online publishing | Civilities
Whereas the design fundamental of weblog is the reverse-chronological format, the design fundamental of the webzine is separate departments based on the style of the writing.
As far as webzines go, there was never an agreed-upon format of what a webzine was (see this 1998 Wired News piece Webzine Publishers Grapple with Self-Definition), let alone a culture around it.
By contrast, the webzine format gives publishers the confidence that high-profile stories will not be pushed off of the front page.

 Favorite Webzine
One of the reasons I host this particular topic is because of my love of short stories and my support of webzines.
Face it, a webzine is a labor of love.
I doubt there are many people who are getting rich off their webzine, but all you have to do is take a look at some of the ones I've reviewed to see what enormous pride the editors and authors take in their work.

 Weinstein.org > Digital World > Webzine > Define
I've borrowed this little sound bite as a way for webzine authors to voice their opinion that independent content matters just as much as corporate content, while also allowing the same authors to link to other sites that they think best highlights these ideals.
Teachers and the public school system in general are ok..it's those few bad apples the stink up the whole system.) Anyway the end result is that the kids then learn that corporate media outlets are good and others are not, are of course they next set of teachers and parents..and off we go again.
Point one would therefore be that the two goals of Webzine should be to help educate readers about the issues of independent source vs. major media source and next how to filter and digest corporate and independent information.
