It is covered by the Wednesfield North, Wednesfield South and part of the Heath Town wards of Wolverhampton City Council.
Wednesfield town centre is modest in size, but has a small market on the high street which is now a pedestrian and public transport area only.

The vicarage is in the patronage of the Bishop and certain trustees, and incumbency of the Rev William Stephens.
A transcript of the Wednesfield registers for the period 1751-1837 (Bapts & Bur) was published jointly by the Staffordshire Parish Register Society and the Birmingham & Midland SGH in 1980.

Unless its at the main crossroads between Wolverhampton / Willenhall / Portabello / Wednesfield about 1/4 of the way down it...
There was NOTHING about it in last nights NOR Thursdays paper NOR on the TV news (usually would be something like that on local news)
