  Week Ending - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
First broadcast in 1970 and last broadcast in 1998, it acted as training ground for a large number of comedy writers, performers and producers.
Technically the show's title was always announced as "Week Ending..." followed by the broadcast date.
The show was written and recorded at short notice, and would focus on the events of the previous week.

The advance unadjusted insured unemployment rate was 2.2 percent during the week ending March 4, a decrease of 0.1 percentage point from the prior week.

Last week, for the first time since the week ending August 31, crude oil, distillate fuel, and motor gasoline inventories all fell in unison.
But for the week ending February 15, 2002, crude oil inventories fell by 3.1 million barrels, distillate fuel inventories fell by 1.8 million barrels, and gasoline inventories fell by 0.5 million barrels.
Crude oil imports last week averaged just 8.0 million barrels per day, the lowest amount seen since the week ending February 16, 2001, when dense fog in the Gulf Coast kept many tankers from offloading their cargo during portions of that week.

During the past 3 weeks (weeks 8—10), the percentage of specimens testing positive for influenza has ranged from 36.8% in the East North Central region to 11.1% in the Pacific region**.
During weeks 8—10, 52.6% of isolates from the Mountain region have been influenza B. The influenza B isolates reported from this region accounted for 41.1% of the B isolates reported during this time period.
During week 10, 7.6% of all deaths reported by the vital statistics offices of 122 U.S. cities were due to pneumonia or influenza.

Summary of Weekly Petroleum Data for the Week Ending March 17, 2006 U.S. crude oil refinery inputs averaged over 14.6 million barrels per day during the week ending March 17, up 255,000 barrels per day from the previous week's average.
Over the last four weeks, crude oil imports have averaged over 9.8 million barrels per day, a decrease of 245,000 barrels per day from the comparable four weeks last year.
Jet fuel demand is down 2.3 percent over the last four weeks compared to the same four- week period last year.

 Week ending 12th may
It was a bit of a shaky night but came together in the end and then went to do my bit at the 36hour comedy marathon that was happening at the three tuns in aid of depression – it was certainly a great atmosphere and very busy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stint on stage.
Evening news are doing an article this week from my kids perspective of their experience, they have learnt the wily ways of the media at a tender age – no bad thing.
Away from comedy the last couple of weeks have been taken up with being chief henchwoman for the lovely and talented Gowan Calder who got married to the equally talented Mr Paul Matthews and we are all still recovering from the “luvvies r us” wedding celebrations.

 Mortgage Rates Mixed For Week Ending June 30 2005   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-08)
Rates on 15 and 30 year mortgages continued to fall last week according to Freddie Mac, although the 5/1 and 1-year ARM were up by the smallest possible amount.
Freddie’s survey for the week ended June 30 had the 30 year down from 5.57 percent to 5.53 percent and the 15 year dropping from 5.16 percent to 5.12 percent The 30-year figure established a new low for the year, and the 15-year was at its lowest since February 10.
The 30-year fixed increased from 5.47 percent to 5.58 percent and the 15-year increased from 5.06 percent for the week ended June 24 to 5.18 percent for the week ended July 1.

 Rydex Review: Week Ending 9/30/2005
Possibly investors see the Fed ending upward moves in interest rates sometime fairly soon, but there currently appears to be little reason for investors to be so excited in the banking sector when looking at the price action of the sector in general.
Investors seem heartened by the nice trend higher of some of the Internet Fund's holdings, but the huge leap in assets may be running forward a bit too quickly and could lead to some diappointment.
Assets surged by 60.77 percent over the last week and are up an impressive 107.71 percent over the last month.

The 4.5 mile AM run on Fri was a "treadmill jog", the other runs were outdoors.
Wanted to get in about 35 miles for the week, and didn't want to run the day before the race.
My 4 week sequence of 15km, 11km, 46km, 105km doesn't exactly follow the 10% rule.

 Mortgage Rates Down For Second Week - Week Ending August 25, 2005
Mortgage rates declined almost across the board for the week ending August 25 and 26, according to Freddie Mac and the Mortgage Bankers Association respectively.
This is the second week in a row that leading mortgage rates have dropped following six straight weeks of mostly upward bound figures.
