Welcome to Eltingville - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Welcome to Eltingville is the name of a comedy cartoon based on the Eltingville stories in Evan Dorkin's comic book Dork!
The pilot introduces the four members of the Eltingville Club: Bill Dickey (the leader), Josh Levy (an overweight blowhard), Pete DiNunzio (a horror movie addict with a Brooklyn accent) and Jerry Stokes (a science fiction fan and the group's Dungeonmaster).
The episode and comic are based on Dorkin's days as a comic store employee on Staten Island, New York (Eltingville is one of Staten Island's neighborhoods); the outside shots of the comic shop reflect both the location of an actual store and the Island's most famous view, the Verrazano Bridge.

The series' three lead male characters each represent an aspect of this world, and are perpetually hounded by a nerdy, even-more-geekier younger (hence, ignored) kid as well.
