 Autism Diva: Welcome to Holland
Recently, Lenny Schafer, proponent of the mercury-hype-othesis and editor of the "Schafer Autism" Report, was all in a mood about someone insinuating that some mom's might have caused their children's autism by drinking or drug abuse during pregnancy.
Spain reports about 1/10 the number that the Holland reports, but it seems plain that we are talking oranges and sheep here, the number in Holland was for the whole autism spectrum as is the 1 in 166 number is for the United States, and in Spain they are talking about "classic" autism.
Schafer's unsupportable statement that Holland and Spain have low autism rates is just typical of the way the mercury parents throw stuff out there without bothering to check to see if it's true.
