Well-field system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Well-field system (Chinese: 井田制度; pinyin: Jǐngtián zhìdù) was a Chinese land distribution method since at least 9th century BC (late Western Zhou Dynasty).
It is named after the Chinese character for well (井 jǐng), which looks like the # symbol and represents the theoretical appearance for a piece of land under such an organization: the eight surrounding outer blocks being private (私田; sītián), and the central one block being communal or public (公田; gōngtián).
The system was first suspended by Shang Yang in the state of Qin; other states followed suit.

In particular, the quantum theory of the electromagnetic field, known as quantum electrodynamics, is one of the most well-tested and successful theories in physics.
The fundamentals of quantum field theory were developed between the late 1920s and the 1950s, notably by Dirac, Pauli, Tomonaga, Schwinger, Feynman, and Dyson.
It was discovered that quantum mechanical particles of the same species are indistinguishable, in the sense that the wavefunction of the entire system must be symmetric (bosons) or antisymmetric (fermions) when the coordinates of its constituent particles are exchanged.

The village well field is situated along the banks of the river on Waterworks Road.
According to the well log and drilling report for one of the Village wells, the geology in the immediate vicinity of the well field is composed of approximately 20 feet of clay underlain by 20 feet of "loam" (mixture of silt, clay, sand, and organic matter).
Ten temporary piezometers were also installed in and around the well field for the periodic measurement of static ground water levels in the aquifer.

Abstract: Evolution from a Conventional Well Field to a Riverbank-Filtration System
The balance of the recharge is from the underlying aquifer (21 percent) and the infiltration of precipitation (5 percent).
USGS studies of Cedar Rapids' wells have confirmed that, "The filtering efficiency of the aquifer is equivalent to a 3-log reduction rate or 99.99-percent reduction in particulates" (Schulmeyer, 1995).
Initially, the primary focus was to develop an understanding of the hydraulic interconnection of the river and wells and the factors that affect the quantity and quality of the water drawn from the wells.

The ISVE system (see Field Update 12 and Field Update 13) consists of extraction wells, conveyance piping, a manifold system, and a blower unit to collect organic compounds (organics) from below the ground surface and send them to the treatment system for destruction.
During system testing, organics were extracted from a group of extraction wells in the off-site area while the system simulated normal operating conditions.
Initial tests confirmed that the system is operating effectively to remove and destroy organics from the off-site area ISVE well field.

Hernando: Brooksville makes deal for new well field
BROOKSVILLE -- The city of Brooksville on Monday took a step toward improving the capacity of its water system by agreeing to lease land for a new well field at the Pasco-Hernando Community College campus north of downtown.
The city has been discussing a well field for several years and hired Coastal Engineering Associates Inc. to seek a site about 18 month ago, public works director Emory Pierce said.
The council voted 4-1 to approve the agreement, with the stipulation that it could be voided if test wells show any problems with the quality or quantity of the water there or if the city has problems getting the project permitted.
