		Well Of Souls was formed in December of 1997 by guitarist Brandon Johnson and vocalist John Calvin in an attempt to simply have a good time.
		Well Of Souls then added a second guitarist to the mix and began melding doom with European progressive/power metal and classic metal, and in the process sound modern with an obvious harkening back to the old school metal that true hard rock fans yearn for.
