One glorious sun-drenched day that was to etch itself into my memory with views to Ireland and the English East Coast and the biggest dangers being sunburn, dehydration and achieving so much joy all of life seems flat afterwards.

Last year when Pete was Captain he kicked off the tradition of doing an annual Ben Lairig challenge, so when we were sat in the Clachaig Inn back in September we agreed that once again we should attempt to complete an utterly silly adventure for no apparently good reason.

You must not travel in a vehicle between any of the hills and the time measured is from leaving the top the first hill to the arriving at the summit of the last.
