In the case of the Wemic, this is a little tricky: the Wemic uses a skinmesh and skinmesh models are special when it comes to working in the game.
In the case of the Wemic, the primary difference is that the female’s nodes are closer together, the lower body is smaller and of course it has a different tail.

I’ve been interested lately in wemic origins, and having tracked down the liontaur’s mythological origins in ancient Assyria, I turned to the origins of the wemic in D&D. I had long known that wemics entered the game as a bonus monster in the Monster Cards Set 3 product in 1982.
Jim Ward, currently of Fast Forward Entertainment, suggested that wemics were inspired by the Native-American-Indian-style centaurs of Philip Jose Farmer’s World of Tiers books.
The Wemic was -- according to Dave -- a Zulu version of a centaur: part human, part lion.

I never had a problem with changing the clothing however although I may have gotten the same silver thing happening but I ignored it and went about changing the armor and so on without a problem.
The files were meant to make using the Wemic easier for players who are obvuiously not quite at the technical level you folks seem to be.
We want people using the CEP because it darn cool and using the new Wemic race is a part of that.

While I was able to see a wemic in Hala, I have yet to return to Rockhome due to the patch update.
But if no wemics can actually enter the world, it will be hard to test.
I am able to run my wemics on Deglos now that it is 1.65.
