 Werewolf
Werewolf is a simple game for a large group of people (seven or more.) It requires no equipment besides some bits of paper; you can play it just sitting in a circle.
I'd call it a party game, except that it's a game of accusations, lying, bluffing, second-guessing, assassination, and mob hysteria.
Everyone closes their eyes, the werewolves (or werewolf) secretly select someone to kill, the seer (if alive) secretly learns another player's status; then the sun rises, one player is found dead, and the remaining players begin to discuss another lynching.

 WW Werewolf - RPGnet Forums
Before White Wolf launched their Werewolf game, the name 'werewolf' reminded me of old European legends of people who were cursed to turn into a monster on the nights of the full moon.
Werewolf, on the other hand, was comprised of alot of stuff they made up, in contradiction to all the various Werewolf legends, etc. throughout the ages.
And well it may still be a pretty good, and generally fun game, it just loses that powerful sense of wonder that White Wolf games, at their best, can evoke, because the whole damn game works as an allusion to lots of stuff that went before.

Werewolf, by the nature of its mechanics, requires a large group: it doesn't work well with less than eight players, plus one impartial to coordinate the whole system.

Werewolf stands as one of White Wolf's more successful games, and it did a lot to set the spiritual tone of the World of Darkness - much more so than Vampire, whose focus was much more insular, and focused on vampiric society.
Werewolf is also one of those games that made me initially grit my teeth and shake my head, alternately.

 The Werewolf Game, LIVE
So I am organizing and creating a club at my school known as "The Society of Wolves", and I'm pitching it as "A game testing the mind" and also as a study for psychology majors who can study and write papers on how the mind works in such situations.
The deal is 15 or more players will enter the game, the club meets weekly where on the first meeting each player receives a specially sealed envelope (marked in red wax with an archaic "W" seal I had laying around) containing their role.
I plan to go all out on this, meetings will be breifed by a small presentation discussing the plot of what had happened, the prizes, t-shirts, flyers, even a website displaying the past games and current events.
