Wesley Bolin (July 1, 1909–March 4, 1978) served as governor of the U.S. state of Arizona between 1977 and 1978.
Bolin was Secretary of State for Arizona from 1949 until the resignation of his predecessor.
He died in office at the age of 68 in 1978 and was succeeded by Bruce Babbitt.

She spent her lifetime working for the Arizona state government, eventually being appointed Secretary of State by Governor Wesley Bolin in 1977, and retaining that post after the elections of 1978, 1982, and 1986.
She administered the recall election of Governor Evan Mecham, and then took over the governorship in 1987 when Mecham was impeached, stabilizing the situation after the turbulence of the period.

The Arizona Chapter of American Atheists has formed a committee to try to have the plaque of the ten commandments removed from Wesley Bolin Plaza.
On Saturday, April 17th and on Tuesday April 20th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM there will be a protest demonstrations at the site, Wesley Bolin Plaza, Adams Street at 17th Avenue.

A state civil liberties group is demanding the removal of a 6-foot tall granite monument with the Ten Commandments that sits in a state park across from the Capitol complex in Phoenix.
Pamela Sutherland, the ACLU chapter’s legal director, said if the monument is not removed, her group will file suit in federal court to have it forcibly taken out of Wesley Bolin Plaza.
