Bletchley Park lies at the centre of the important Oxford-Cambridge Arc and is located next to Milton Keynes.
As a consequence of these achievements Bletchley Park is attributed with simultaneously shortening the War and heralding the dawn of the age of the computer.
Bletchley Park Trust was formed in February 1992 with the aim of preserving the site and bringing Bletchley Park’s wartime exploits to the attention of a wider audience.

  Bletchley (including Fenny Stratford and Water Eaton)
Bletchley, which includes the hamlet of Water Eaton and until 1881-91 also included part of the market town of Fenny Stratford, is a large and low-lying parish, watered on the east by the River Ousel and the Grand Junction Canal, which run almost parallel through Fenny Stratford and Water Eaton.
The other manor (West Bletchley) was purchased of Henry Grey, Earl of Kent, by Catherine, Duchess Dowager of Buckingham, whose son, the second duke, having sold it to Dr. Willis, all the manors became again united.
William Cole, the Cambridge antiquary, was rector of Bletchley from 1753 to 1767: the rectory is in the patronage of John Willis esq.

 Meeting
The July Meeting of West Bletchley Council was delayed until 1 st. August due to a clash with an open meeting of a Milton Keynes Council Committee Meeting on Waste Management on the previous Thursday.
Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council no longer wish to participate in a joint carnival and are arranging a separate event in Leon Park (Though to be arranged for the 22 nd.
It was proposed that West Bletchley would hold their own event probably on the Leys and possibly on the 1 st. and 2 nd June but other local organisation would be contacted first.

 Hayes, Hillingdon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It is a suburban development situated 13 miles (20.9 km) west of Charing Cross.

 Bletchley Pioneers, Planning, & Progress
Bletchley's post-war development was progressing rapidly around the Whiteley Crescent and Newton Road area and, alongside this, the Saints estate with its population of London 'overspill' was growing.
The sixth site to be proposed was Derwent Drive on the Rivers estate in West Bletchley and this was the site on which the club was eventually built.
It was hard work for the staff, which also included several part-time workers, but the enthusiasm of the youth and their support for the club made it worthwhile.

Bletchley was part of the manor of 'Etone' mentioned in Domesday, held by the Bishop of Coutances and granted to Walter Gifford after the bishop?s rebellion in 1088: Walter granted the tithes of Bletchley to Newton Longville priory
It begins with the rectory, and the boundaries are described in detail, starting on the west where they abutted 'ye churchyard and part of the Green' and continued along the south where it adjoined 'ye pightle and tenement being the land of Mr Thomas Sparke now in the tenure of Widdow Parkins'.
The ease for repair was argued by the Bletchley Archaeological and Historical Society, and a scheme for restoration was begun.

 Bedford to Bletchley Rail Users' Association
The Bedford to Bletchley railway was opened on 17th November 1846, the first railway to serve the county town of Bedford.
In 1851 the line was extended west of Bletchley to Oxford and in 1862, east of Bedford to reach Cambridge.
Thus, by 1862 the 16.5 mile, Bedford to Bletchley line was part of an important 77 mile, cross-country railway, linking the major University cities of Oxford and Cambridge.
