		West Union is a village located in Adams County, Ohio.
		Nearby Seaman, Ohio is the birthplace of the sport of crockey.
		West Union is a "dry town." No sales of alcoholic beverages are permitted, though they are available at nearby Manchester, Ohio, as well as other towns in and around Adams County.

		Ohio, the region north of the Ohio River and south of the Great Lakes, was originally controlled by various native tribes.
		Ohio's southern border is defined by the Ohio River (with the border being at the 1793 low-water mark on the north side of the river), and much of the northern border is defined by Lake Erie.
		Ohio was also a deciding factor in the 1948 presidential election when Democrat Harry S.
