		West Virginia State outfielder Josh Miller has been named a first team Division II All-American on the first two national baseball honor squads to be announced.
		Six West Virginia Conference golfers are members of the all-region squad, and Fairmont State mentor Reid Amos was recognized as the East Region Coach of the Year.

		Charleston's intercollegiate football team was resumed in 2003 after a 42-year absence; the school was known as Morris Harvey College when the earlier team played its last season in 1956.
