Canterbury's early confidence was gradually sapped by the Park forwards and the skilful prompting of fly-half Wessell Wolmerans, the outstanding player on view.
Park were penalised, argued their case unsuccessfully and were taken back another 10 metres allowing Pilcher a simple penalty goal.
Park drew level when prop Steve Croall plunged over from short range but, in the last act of the half, Pilcher pushed his side ahead again with a second penalty.

Acheiving our second draw already this the season, as well as our second draw at home against Westcombe Park in only four seasons, this was a superb display by Dings outscoring their free scoring opponents, six bonus try points from seven matches this season, by three tries to one.
Park restored their three point lead on ten minutes with a second penalty, on sixteen minutes Dings took the lead with the first try of the game.
Park had their chances charging down a Dings clearance kick, but tidied up neatly by the Dings defence, as well as several half breaks.

Hello, I'm a 22 years drummer, I moved to Maze Hill 1 month ago and I would like find some place like a garage o basement to rent able to practise, I can soundproof it so don't be afraid about the noise and I'm serious musician trying to be a professional.
Lots of nice bars & Pubs in Blackheath the nearest to westcombe park is the Princess of Wales - nice pub quite trendy fabulous garden for a pleasant evening drink in the summer!
The Arches leisure centre is about 10 mins walk from Westcombe Park station, on the way in to greenwich.

Westcombe Park Rugby Club added credence to its growing reputation recently by holding its first joint summer coaching school at Goddington Dene, held in conjunction with the Zurich Premiership's NEC Harlequins.
Park and Harlequins, the current European Parker Pen Trophy holders, provided a raft of experienced coaching staff, including NEC Harlequins head of community development officer Nick Hyde as well as coaches James Skeens, Tony Paul and Tom Williams.
Westcombe Park are fast becoming one of the premier Kent clubs at junior rugby level with at least two teams at every age from under-six age group to under 12, and their strategic alliance with NEC Harlequins has only served to underline the ambition of the club.
