The Central Plains Region, defined by the Government of Manitoba, is a rough triangle with the RM of Glenella in the northwest corner, RM of Victoria in the southwest corner and Rm of MacDonald in the southeast.
The Westman Region, defined by the Government of Manitoba, is a rough square with the RM of Ellice in the northwest corner, RM of Rosedale in the northeast corner, RM of Edward in the southwest corner and Pelican Lake in the southeast.
The 1996 population of the region was 706,000.
