		Westmont is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States.
		The William Gregg Brick Company, located in Westmont, the highest point west of Chicago along the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad (now the Burlington Northern Railroad), provided most of the brick used in the rebuilding of the city.
		During Prohibition, many speakeasies opened in Westmont and the town adopted nicknames such as "Wetmont " and "Whiskey Hill." Al Capone was also said to have made visits to the town.
