dbanks - Wet Etching - Microengineering Intro
The film is etched through, and the etching continues to further under-cut the mask.
Since isotropic etchants attack the material at the same rate in all directions, they remove material horizontally under the etch mask (undercutting) at the same rate as they etch through the material.
In such cases the wafer can be etched from the back, however this is not without disadvantages (longer etching times, more expensive wafers, etc).

Season - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the temperate and polar regions, seasons are marked by changes in the amount of sunlight, which in turn often cause cycles of dormancy in plants and hibernation in animals.
With the solstices (peaks) are used as the middle of each season, as is in Jieqi and East Asian countries, the longest day of the year occurs in the middle of summer, and conversely the shortest day of the year in the middle of winter.
In the United States, the seasons are often considered to begin at the astronomical solstices and equinoxes: these are sometimes known as the "astronomical seasons".

Wet sump - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A wet sump is a lubricating oil management design for four-stroke piston internal combustion engines which uses a built-in reservoir for oil, as opposed to an external or secondary reservoir used in a dry sump design.
A wet sump offers the advantage of a simple design, using a single pump and no external reservoir.
Since the sump is internal, there is no need for hoses or tubes connecting the engine to an external sump which may leak.

Dream - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dreaming is the subjective experience of remembered and imaginary images, sounds/voices, words, thoughts or sensations during sleep, usually involuntarily.
Dreaming has been associated with rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, a lighter form of sleep that occurs during the latter portion of the sleep cycle, characterized by rapid horizontal eye movements, stimulation of the pons, increased respiratory and heart rate, and temporary paralysis of the body.
Many others define a lucid dream as a dream in which the dreamer has full awareness that the situation he is in is a construct of his mind, and thus can analyse the situation logically and react accordingly.

At the base of the sump 16 is a strainer 30 through which water from the sump may be drawn by a pump 32 and pumped up a vertical pipe 34 on the outside of the rear end 20 of the plenum, where it re-enters the plenum 4 to feed a water distribution pipe 36.
The advantage of such a remote sump is that it is not necessary to drain the whole body of water from a sump in the air distribution plenum in order to achieve dry operation since only a small amount of water remains in the air distribution plenum and this can be drained relatively quickly.
The sump in conventional closed circuit towers is therefore of a sufficiently large capacity to be able to be used in an open tower as well as a closed circuit configuration.

Environmental Monitoring - Explanatory Notes on Water Chemistry Results
Elevated EC is a typical late season effect that manifests as volumes of surface water diminish toward the end of the wet season and groundwater inputs to the system become more noticeable and/or dissolved salts in the surface water become concentrated as surface water evaporates.
Overall, the water quality in Magela Creek this wet season was similar to that seen last season, and was demonstrably improved compared to that seen during the 2001-02 season (note the smaller differences in upstream-downstream electrical conductivity and concentrations of uranium, magnesium and sulfate seen in the last two seasons compared to the 2001-02 season).
The first water chemistry samples for the Supervising Scientist’s 2005-06 wet season surface water monitoring program were collected from Gulungul Creek on 29 November 2005, the first week after flow began in the creek.

Wet and Dry Seasons in East Central Florida
The Wet Season is typically considered to begin in the latter part of May and resembles "summer" across much of the remainder of the country.
The Wet Season is marked by a daily inland progression of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico sea breezes as a low pressure trough develops across the peninsula due to surface heating.
The Wet Season in east central Florida is commonly referred to as the "Rainy Season." Though not as dramatic as the Monsoon circulations elsewhere in the world, the Florida peninsula has many of the same climate characteristics and certainly can be classified as "Monsoon-like" or "Monsoonally influenced" with a distinct wet-dry seasonal rhythm.

Adequate wetting of ACM is typically accomplished by repeatedly spraying it with a liquid or a wetting agent, usually amended water (water to which surfactant chemicals have been added), until it can absorb no more.
During periods when wetting operations are suspended due to freezing temperatures, the owner/operator must record the temperature in the area containing the facility components at the beginning, middle, and end of each workday and keep daily temperature records available for inspection by the Administrator during normal business hours at the demolition or renovation site.
To ensure that the fitting remains adequately wet during the removal operation, a person is often assigned to spray the ACM as it is stripped.

11803. Poor solderability using gold finish - gold too thick?
Since gold is soluble in a "solder pot" assume tin/lead....60/40...90/10 The gold is only there to protect the solderability of the underlying base metal.i IF the underlaying base metal is free of oxides and in a "solderable" condition then the gold is the Saran Wrap to preserve it.
Gold does enter the equation as it is soluble and can contribute to brittle solder joints but that gets to be blah blah blah to this situation.
So long term, thick gold plating may end up being the limiting factor for the life of the solder pot, "causing", in a way, the solderability problem.
