		In a unique new arrangement, the artists—Erik Larsen, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri, and Jim Valentino—formed Image Comics, a partnership of several different studios, including Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios, Mark Silvestri's Top Cow Productions, Todd McFarlane Productions, and Jim Lee's Wildstorm Studios (recently acquired by DC Comics).
