In the graveyard you will find the last resting place of the artist Myles Birket Foster, buried in 1899, who made his home in Witley.
Also buried here beneath an imposing marble slab, dissimilar to those around it, is Whitaker Wright (1846-1904), the famous mining entrepreneur.
Wright was found guilty of fraud and committed suicide shortly afterwards at the Royal Courts of Justice in 1904.
