In comparing the distribution of White Stork observed in the 1958—59 census with that in the 1974—75 census, it was noted that there was a marked westward extension along the coastal belt in the latter census (Winterbottom 1977).
In grassland and woodland habitat, the White Stork is attracted to caterpillar outbreaks (Herremans and Herremans-Tonnoeyr 1993).
The itinerant behaviour of the White Stork seems to be part of an opportunistic strategy to capitalize on favourable local conditions, leading to large local fluctuations in numbers of birds.

Joel Hensley (c1813) and Sarah (White) of Perry, Decatur and Henderson Co, TN
Sarah White Hensley apparently died between 1870 and 1880 in Henderson Co, TN, for she was not with Joel for the 1880 census, and he was listed as being widowed.
This particular census makes it appear that Isah White is residing with the family, but I think he is the head of the next household instead, and the house numbers just put on the wrong line.
Her maiden name is not proven but could be White, for in 1860, an elderly Isaiah White was residing with her and Joel, and it is assumed that he was her father, but this might not be the case.

Allardice and Arslan found that the 1870 census showed Hannah White was living with her mother and three children, including a 9-year-old mulatto boy, William White.
Mark Arslan, a genealogist of the White family, told Allardice that the 1880 census reported A.J. White owned 70 slaves.
Peter Morris, an SABR researcher, got in contact with Civil War historian Bruce Allardice, according to the Journal, and Allardice found the only A.J. White in Milner in 1880 was Andrew J. White and that the 1880 census said his household included a 35-year-old mulatto woman, Hannah White.

 Multiracial
The census takers had intended " Hispanic " to be a different dimension to other categories, so it would include "White Hispanic", "Black Hispanic" and so on, so these people disappeared from the mixed-race figures in the 2002 estimates.
But multiracial people won a victory of sorts with the 2000 United States Census, which allowed participants to select more than one of the six available categories, which were, in brief: White, Black, Asian, Native North American, Pacific Island, Other.
Apparently contradicting this, more recent census data shows the population of England (in lieu of the UK) to be 1.3% mixed-race (2001), compared with, for example, 1.4% in the USA (2002 estimates, see below).
