	White Pony - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		White Pony is Deftones' third album, released in 2000.
		It is the follow up to Around the Fur, which was released in 1997, and marks a significant growth in the band's sound; intertwining New Wave and Ambient influences with the Alternative metal edge the group had honed and became known for.
		The album was then re-released with a white cover [1].

		'White Pony' is, in my opinion, the best release (so far) in the new millennium and I have a hard time imagining anyone matching or exceeding it's potency anytime soon.
		This (as well as the Black cover) version is the second variation of White Pony and is differentiated by the additional 12th track, "Boys of the Republic", which is perhaps one of their best tracks, with simple verses, dominated by a beautifully harsh melody comparable to Around the Fur's "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)".
		I would suggest just buying the white version of White Pony (the one with Back To School on it), which is much cheaper than the limited additions, and then going and downloading Boy's Republic somewhere else.
