The text calls the bar white, and correctly, but as BSA points out it is invariably stained and appears yellow, as may the white feather tips.
The underwing pattern of the Great Hornbill is so distinctive it can be identified half a mile away; the b & w illustration in BWMS makes it appear dull (although the text calls it distinctive).

The belly on the "wild type", the white-rumped munia, is a soft beige with tiny striations of a darker color.
This is indeed true, in that no white feathers show, but it isn't completely accurate to call them solid brown.
The most well known variety is the "fawn/chocolate/pied." These birds exhibit distinct patches of fawn coloration, chocolate coloration, and white plumage (from piedness).

Correction: Benin - the final bird in the 2000 Surcharge is 192 096 000 Yellow-crowned Bishop Euplectes afer, not 193 042 000 Red-cheeked Cordonbleu Uraeginthus bengalus.
It should have been listed as Nutmeg Mannikin Lonchura punctulata, which is a new species on stamp.

It starts from besides a two metre high white cross on the left hand side of the road about 400 metres after the turning to the Fort Aguada Resort.
Initially there is a steep scramble over some rocks but after the path is good and offers an excellent vantage over the tributary and much of the mangroves.
From the Marinha Dourada Hotel at Baga turn right (in the opposite direction of Baga) and go up at the road junction, go left at the junction and then continue 800 metres until the road bends to the left.

The shrub along the trail held Grey-crowned Warblers and White-rumped Munia.
A couple of GreylagGeese flew overhead, there were plenty of Little Egrets, Great White and Grey Herons, a single Purple Heron, but no Spoonbills.
